Speaker 1:

Welcome to another episode of Live Healthy Longer with Dr Jim. Did you know that one out of every four people believe in reincarnation? As always on this podcast, we're searching out for the truth, and here to guide you in this exciting exploration of the human soul is our host, dr Jim Polikoff.

Speaker 2:

Yes, this is Dr Jim Polikoff, and welcome to our thousands of listeners. I thank you once again for listening to my podcast. Do you believe in reincarnation? Have we lived past lives, or is this just a bunch of hocus-pocus nonsense? During this episode, we'll begin by exploring research that was performed on a bunch of hocus-pocus nonsense. During this episode, we'll begin by exploring research that was performed on a number of major celebrities. We'll discover past life findings for John Travolta, elon Musk, taylor Swift, john Legend, paul McCartney, jerry Seinfeld, holly Berry, sylvester Stallone and Lady Gaga.

Speaker 2:

I'm also going to relate how you can discover who you were in a past life, but first we'll explore possible past lives of the celebrities that I named. This information is largely provided by an organization called Reincarnation Research. The organization was founded by a doctor who devoted his life to scientifically researching reincarnation, dr Walter Simju, who very recently passed away. Unfortunately began his research about reincarnation while working alongside Dr Ian Stevenson of the University of Virginia, and, by the way, it was Dr Stevenson who scientifically compiled more than 1,500 past life memory cases of children, and each case has been validated. In any event, dr Simcu provided our world with some great contributions during his lifetime, and we thank him. Now let's get back to our celebrity past lives.

Speaker 2:

According to the scientific team at Reincarnation Research, apparently John Travolta was Rudolph Valentino in a past life. Now for those of you who don't remember or never heard of Rudolph Valentino, he was born in 1895 and became a romantic leading man in some of the most popular silent films, including the Sheik, which earned Valentino a nickname, the Latin Lover, which earned Valentino a nickname the Latin Lover. Now, if you do a Google face search, when comparing the faces of John Travolta and Rudolph Valentino, you'll see a noticeable resemblance. But taking it further, both stars devoted themselves to acting and both sang in movies.

Speaker 3:

Here is Valentino singing the Kashmiri love song in a movie called the Sheik.

Speaker 4:

Now here is John Travolta singing Sandy from the movie Grease. Sandy, can't you see I'm in misery? Made of star now we're apart, there's nothing left for me.

Speaker 2:

There is a huge sound difference in these old and modern excerpts, but if you listen closely you may have detected a definite similarity in style and inflection. However, travolta and Valentino had more than acting and singing in common. Rudolf Valentino was deeply into spiritual phenomena and of course we know John Travolta has embraced Scientology. Let's see if you can recognize this next celebrity voice. I bet you can't.

Speaker 5:

Humanity has obviously a lot of issues and you know people at times do bad things. But despite all that, I love humanity and I think we should make sure we do everything we can to have a good future and an exciting future and one that maximizes the happiness of the people.

Speaker 2:

Now, that was multi-billionaire Elon Musk after his SpaceX launch. Did you ever wonder why Musk named his automobile Tesla? Well, let me take you back to the 1800s. Nikola Tesla was a competitor of Thomas Edison in the 1890s and is known for his invention of alternating current, known today as AC. Unfortunately, mr Tesla's work fell into relative obscurity, while Thomas Edison became famous for his inventions of electric power, sound recording and motion pictures.

Speaker 2:

It's said that Edison felt badly that the work of his adversary, nikola Tesla, was never properly praised. So if it's true that Thomas Edison reincarnated as Elon Musk, it's not surprising that Musk named his car company Tesla. Perhaps he instinctively felt sorry for his old friend who never received proper recognition. According to Elon Musk, and I will quote, tesla deserved a little bit more play than he got. But on balance, I must admit I'm a bigger fan of Edison. The fact is, when you compare facial features of Musk and Edison, the resemblance is uncanny. Now, thomas Edison was a gifted inventor and businessman who changed the world through his innovations. Well, so was the founder of SpaceX and Tesla, who now seeks the expansion of artificial intelligence. There are so many similarities between Elon Musk and Thomas Edison that their reincarnation cannot be discounted.

Speaker 4:

Union Miners stand together. Do not heed the cold war's tales.

Speaker 2:

Keep your hands upon your wages and your eye upon the scale In the 1930s, a political activist named Florence Reese wrote the song which Side Are you On? Florence Reese wrote the song which Side Are you On During the violent conflict between miners and coal operators in Harlan County, kentucky. Florence Reese became a legend and then she passed away in 1986. Three years later, in 1989, a soon-to-be superstar was born. Her name is Taylor Swift and, in addition to being a songwriter, like Florence Reese, she has become a political activist speaking out about women's inequality, sexism and Donald Trump. Once, when accused of being a white supremacist, taylor Swift lashed back and wrote the song Look what you Made Me Do. Kind of interesting to tie into spirituality and reincarnation.

Speaker 1:

Listen to the song. Like your tilted stage, the role you made me play, the fool. No, I don't like you. I don't like your perfect crime.

Speaker 6:

How you laugh when you lie. You said the gun was mine. Isn't cool? No, I don't like you.

Speaker 2:

There are many chapters ahead to be written about Taylor Swift, but with so much in common, she could have easily been Florence Reese in a past life. Speaking of having things in common. See if you can identify the man with this voice.

Speaker 4:

Chestnuts roasting on an open fire, jack Frost nipping at your nose, yuletide carols being sung by a choir and folks dressed up like Eskimos. Everybody knows, everyone knows A turkey, and some mistletoes have to make Help to make the season bright.

Speaker 2:

Even if you were born after 1965, the year he passed away, you likely know the name Nat King Cole. Of course, that was Cole's voice, but you also heard the voice of John Legend, because this rendition was actually a duet, with both King Cole and John Legend singing the holiday favorite, the Christmas Song. Of course, the two did not actually sing this duet together. John Legend was born in 1978, 13 years after the death of Nat Cole, but if you download the Google app Face Comparison, you will see a striking resemblance between these two singers. Now, while John Legend never actually admitted to once living as Nat King Cole, what John had to say during an interview certainly makes you wonder.

Speaker 4:

Nat King Cole's voice has been so resonant for so many years and so many of his songs have meant so much to me. He's one of my musical heroes, one of my role models for how I sing, how I phrase, how I think about music, and I'm honored to sit here at his piano at Capitol Records.

Speaker 2:

In early 1860, a comedic writer by the name of John Thompson Ford wrote a play entitled Richmond. As it Is, it focused on the humorous aspects of everyday life, or something about nothing. Does this theme remind you of a popular TV series? Here's a funny car reservation episode from that series. Can?

Speaker 6:

I help you.

Speaker 3:

Name please. Seinfeld, you made a reservation for a midsize and she's a small.

Speaker 4:

I'm kidding around, of course.

Speaker 6:

Okay, let's see here 66 years old.

Speaker 1:

Yeah well, he's in perfect health, he works out, he's vibrant. You'd really like him.

Speaker 3:

Why do people always say that I's vibrant, you'd really like him. Why do people always say that I hate everybody?

Speaker 1:

Why would I like him? So what do you think? Could you go out with a 66-year-old woman?

Speaker 6:

Well, I'll tell you.

Speaker 2:

She would have to be really vibrant. It's funny, or should I say odd, that almost 120 years after John Ford's force, that was something about nothing came one of the most successful TV comedies of all times, seinfeld Again something about nothing. As with the previous celebrities, the scientific experts at reincarnation research contend that comedy writer John Thompson Ford was reincarnated as Jerry Seinfeld. By the way, in 1865, john Thompson Ford managed Ford's Theater, where Abraham Lincoln was unfortunately assassinated. You have been listening to a bit of the classic Four Seasons written by the famous composer Antonio Lovaldi. When the Beatles recorded one of their first hits, eleanor Rigby, they'd already made history by using a string quartet as a backup to Paul McCartney's. Yesterday, apparently, mccartney had once again listened to Bobaldi's Four Seasons and convinced John Lennon they should use a string quartet for Rigby, which of course gave that song its unique flavor. Could Paul?

Speaker 4:

McCartney have been a genius composer and Antonio Vivaldi in a previous life.

Speaker 2:

Here is what Paul said, and I quote my subconscious exposure to classical music I want to emphasize the word subconscious gave me a highly developed appreciation of melody and harmony. That influenced my writing style, particularly in later years.

Speaker 6:

I've got rhythm. I've got music. I've got my man who could ask for anything more. I've got daisies in green pastures. I've got my man who could ask for anything more. Old man trouble. I don't mind him, you won't find him around my door. I've got starlight. I've got sweet dreams. I got my man who could ask for anything more.

Speaker 2:

Was that Dorothy Dandridge or was it Holly Berry portraying Dorothy in a movie? Apparently, there is scientific data that suggests Academy Award winning it. Holly Berry portraying Dorothy in a movie. Apparently, there is scientific data that suggests Academy Award-winning actress Holly Berry lived a past life as Dorothy Dandridge. Both Berry and Dandridge were born in Cleveland, Ohio. Dorothy passed away in 1965, and Holly's birth was in 1966. Again, if you face comparison, their facial features are almost identical.

Speaker 2:

At the height of her career, Dorothy Dandridge was nominated for an Oscar based on her magnificent performance in Carmen Jones. However, it's said that discrimination against African-American actors back then prevented her from winning her from winning. But in 2002, Holly Berry fulfilled Dorothy's dream by becoming the first Black woman to win an Academy Award as Best Actress for her leading role in the Monster's Ball. But these facts became more than coincidences when Holly Berry was motivated to produce and star in a movie titled Introducing Dorothy Dandridge. This was an emotional biographic picture of Dorothy's rise to fame and fortune as a dancer, singer and actress. But then came her sad demise due to drug overdose. Even though she once portrayed a crack cocaine actress in a movie, Holly Berry has never been into drugs and lives a healthy lifestyle. Holly Berry has never been into drugs and lives a healthy lifestyle. Perhaps Holly Berry is a good example that we can learn and improve from past life experiences there are some celebrities who admit they have actually experienced reincarnation.

Speaker 3:

Nobody's ever gone the distance from Crete and if I can go that distance, seeing that bell rings and I'm still standing, I weren't just another bum from the neighborhood.

Speaker 2:

Yes, that's Sylvester Stallone from the Oscar-winning movie Rocky, and he's definitely a believer in reincarnation. Stallone's success with the movies about Rocky Balboa may have resulted from his belief and claim that he was once a boxer killed by a knockout punch in the 1930s. Additionally, stallone is certain he's had at least four past lives. During an interview he stated I'm quite sure I lost my head in the French Revolution. He elaborated saying I've been reading about the Jacobins. And when someone at a party said how often it must be to be guillotined, I found myself saying oh no, it really doesn't hurt. You don't feel anything except your head hits the basket and that's it. When Stallone was asked about his next life, he said I want to be heavyweight champion of the world. Ironic, isn't it? Well, it's up to you to believe or not believe whether he was beheaded in the French Revolution or killed in the 1930s by a knockout punch. But still, sylvester Stallone does believe he's been reincarnated many times.

Speaker 6:

See if you can identify this believer in reincarnation.

Speaker 2:

Yes, that was Lady Gaga singing one of her hits, born this Way. Some believe the song is indicative of her belief in past lives. In one of her interviews, lady Gaga stated I believe that I had a reincarnation and I believe that you can be reborn over and over again. I believe it was my father's sister and her spirit is within me. Born Stefani Joanne Germanotta. In 1955, lady Gaga was referring to her aunt, joanne Stefani Germanotta, who died at 19 from lupus. As the interview continued, she said my middle name is Joanne, which is my dad's sister's name, and her middle name is Stefani, which is my birth name. Whenever I see my grandmother or other family members, they say you look so much like her and I believe that she had so much left unfinished business on this earth. She was creative, like a poet, a writer, a painter. Lady Gaga concluded the interview saying I have two hearts and one is hers.

Speaker 2:

There are actually millions of people, just like Lady Gaga and Sylvester Stallone, who believe that each of us is inhabited by a soul that has previous lives. Have you ever wondered if you yourself lived past lives and have been reincarnated? Well, there's one way to find out. The first step is to seek out a specialist in past life regression who is skilled in helping you to visualize your past lives. This individual is known as a past life regressionist and should be certified in hypnotherapy regressionist, and should be certified in hypnotherapy On occasion. By the way, the regressionist may also be as we refer to as a psychic intuitive. Now, if she has psychic intuitive abilities, she can actually help regression without you having to undergo hypnosis, but hypnosis is always the first choice.

Speaker 2:

I'll be interviewing such a respected specialist in an upcoming episode. Her name is Karen Kubico and she's actually recovered memories from 150 of her own past lives 150 past lives difficult to imagine, but that's not to speak of the numerous people she has helped to recall their past lives. By the way, did you know that you don't even have to leave home to explore your past lives? Many skilled regressionists, such as Karen Kubico, can actually conduct these sessions via Zoom. Ah, the wonder of technology.
